Here is a very carefully maintained 8,000 mile ’79 XS 650 F, the last year of the Standard Roadster. The previous owner is a professional mechanic and owned it for 20 years. He made sure all details were done properly. It has always been stored in a heated garage and it shows. It starts on the button right away even when cold, which is rare for these bikes. All fluids are fresh and fittings greased. The bike is completely original with the exception of a new handlebar, a pair of gorgeous NOS correct mufflers which are virtually unobtainable, a fresh repaint of the gas tank and replacement of the original Bridgestone front tire along with the rear tire which is a Continental K112 which is about half worn. The seat looks and feels new. Compression is 165 lbs both sides. Charging rate at 2,500 rpm is 14.2 volts. Those 2 facts assure the owner that the expensive issues work perfectly. Priced at $5,000.
Testimonial from its buyer:
"Mark - I got the bike last night. It started right up and ran great! It's a nice bike. I'm happy with it. Thanks for the bike. Bob K."
